Abstract: What is information? How can we measure it? What do these quantitative values tell us about computer encodings and about how the human brain processes languages? We’ll talk about efficient codes and about error-correcting codes.

Board Games & Origami

Location: Princeton Public Library, teen room (3rd floor)

3.14pm-4pm: This is a fun opportunity to meet fellow students, speakers, volunteers and everyone else involved in the math circle. There will be lots of great games, and we’ll be building a large origami structure!
